About Madden Integrative
A Nurse Who Takes the Time to Know You
Built on the belief that every patient deserves unhurried, whole-person care.
Why I Started Madden Integrative
I'm Sophia Madden, a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in Pre/Post operative surgical care, trauma, intensive care, and long-term care. But the reason I do this isn't on my résumé — it's personal.
When I was in middle school, I'd walk to my grandmother's work; she ran the kitchen of an Alzheimer's nursing home. Sitting in that dining room among other people's families, I realized something I've never let go of: every one of us is someone to someone, and we all need someone — no matter our age. That's when I knew I'd be a nurse for life.
Years later, my own mother suffered a stroke, and suddenly our family was on the other side of the system — me in another state, desperate for updates, watching things slip through the cracks. Even as a nurse, I felt helpless. If it was that hard for me, I knew how impossible it must feel for families who don't speak the language of healthcare.
After years of working in conventional healthcare settings, I kept seeing the same problem: patients with complex needs being rushed through appointments, leaving with prescriptions but without answers. And for anyone wanting a cosmetic procedure to be kept private, real discretion can feel impossible to find. I knew there was a better way.
That's the gap I built Madden Integrative Health to fill.
"Constant attention by a good nurse may be just as important as a major operation by a surgeon."
— Dag Hammarskjöld, Swedish economist and diplomat

What I Believe
Time is medicine
Every patient deserves an appointment long enough to actually address their concerns. Rushed care is incomplete care.
Root causes matter
Treating symptoms without understanding their source is a short-term fix. We dig deeper.
You are the expert on your body
My job is to listen, guide, and support — not to dismiss what you already know about yourself.
Whole-person health
Physical, mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors all shape your health. We look at all of them.
